🖥 Webinar Highlights: Insights into Cross-Border Deployments

On December 14, 2023, we hosted a webinar titled “Key Outputs from the ICT-53 Projects in Deploying 5G in Cross-Border Corridor Scenarios.” This event provided a comprehensive overview of 5GMED’s achievements, challenges, and outputs, alongside insights from fellow projects 5G-Blueprint, 5GRAIL, and 5G-ROUTES. 🌍 Cross-Border Collaboration: 5GMED at 5G-Blueprint Project Final Event

5GMED was honored to participate in the 5G-Blueprint Project Final Event in the cross-border region between Belgium and the Netherlands. Witnessing impressive developments in teleoperation via 5G, our team engaged in discussions on challenges and synergies, contributing to the shaping of the future of EU cross-border mobility.

🚗 New Scientific Article: Navigating Cross-Border Challenges

Check out our latest scientific article, titled “Cross-border 5G Seamless Connectivity for Connected and Automated Mobility: Challenges, Network Implementation, and Lessons Learnt,” that provides a concise overview of the 5GMED project’s efforts.

Focusing on smart mobility use cases across the Spanish-French border, the article outlines technical challenges, ongoing research, and lessons learned from trials spanning remote driving, road infrastructure digitization, future railway mobile communications, and follow-me infotainment.
